Season 2 promises to continue Mukoda’s adventures, likely introducing new characters and expanding on the world and its magical inhabitants, all while featuring his exquisite cooking.
Most of the original Japanese production staff from Studio MAPPA are also returning, ensuring a consistent visual and narrative style. This includes Michiko Yokote for series composition. However, there are some updates to the animation staff, with Tsuyoshi Kuwahara joining Nao Ōtsu on character designs, and Shiho Tanaka and Eriko Itō replacing Nao Ōtsu and Sara Sakoe as chief animation directors.
