Tokyo, Japan – The upcoming anime series, “Plus-Sized Misadventures in Love!” (original title: Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!), has announced that veteran voice actors Akeno Watanabe and Yasuhiro Kikuchi will be joining its cast. The romantic comedy, which began airing on October 6, 2025, has been generating buzz for its unique premise and engaging storyline.

The series, adapted from mamakari’s popular manga, centers on Yumeko, a young woman grappling with significant self-esteem issues due to her weight.
