Fans of isekai anime can mark their calendars as the English dub of “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” (Japanese title: Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki) is set to begin streaming on Crunchyroll starting Monday, October 13. The highly anticipated dub will introduce English-speaking audiences to the fantastical world of Madeus and the adventures of protagonist Takeru Kamishiro.
Embarking on a New Journey in Madeus
The anime follows Takeru Kamishiro, a typical office worker who finds his mundane life dramatically altered when he is inexplicably summoned to another world known as Madeus. This new realm, brimming with swords and magic, equips Takeru with a suite of formidable skills. Among his newfound abilities are enhanced physical strength, potent magical capabilities, and a unique “search” skill that allows him to locate valuable items. Armed with these “cheat skills,” Takeru embarks on an adventure focused on gathering materials, navigating his new life in this fantastical setting.
The English Dub Cast and Crew Revealed
Crunchyroll has unveiled the talented cast and crew bringing “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” to life for English audiences. Chris Long takes on the lead role of Takeru, while Jessie James Grelle voices the Boy in White/Black. The cast also includes TJ Anthony as Jerome and Tyler Darby as Voldius.

Production Details and Original Staff
The original Japanese animation of “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” is based on the popular light novel series by Masuo Kinoko, which first launched on the Alphapolis platform in December 2017. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Tomozo, followed in 2018.
The anime production is directed by Yoshinori Odaka, with animation handled by studios Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP. Gigaemon Ichikawa is responsible for the series scripts, while Mayumi Watanabe designed the characters. The musical score for the series is composed by Hiroshi Takaki.
The opening theme song, “Prologue,” is performed by Nornis, and the ending theme, “Mugen Trip,” is performed by the rock duo NAKIGOTO.
Crunchyroll is streaming the series globally, with the exception of Asia, making it widely accessible to international viewers. The original Japanese stream debuted on U-NEXT on September 29, with television broadcasts beginning on Tokyo MX and BS11 on October 6.
