Manga creator Ryō Kujirakawa is set to launch a new series titled Kyōsei Kankei (Teacher-Student Relationship) in Akita Shoten’s Young Champion Retsu magazine. The announcement was made in the November issue of the magazine, with the debut scheduled for November 18. The upcoming manga will feature a color opening page.
What is Kyōsei Kankei About?
Kyōsei Kankei will center on a teacher whose life is constantly complicated by financial struggles stemming from drinking and gambling. Due to an undisclosed reason, this teacher finds himself living in the home of a high school boy. Further details about the unfolding plot and the specific nature of the “teacher-student relationship” are anticipated with the manga’s release.
Ryō Kujirakawa’s Previous Works
Ryō Kujirakawa is known for several previous manga series. From 2016 to January 2024, Kujirakawa serialized Reptile Secrets (Himitsu no Reptiles) on Shogakukan’s web manga site Ura Sunday and through the Manga ONE app. This series was compiled into 14 tankōbon volumes, and Comikey offers the digital English publication of the manga.
Under the pen name Gujira, Kujirakawa also published the erotic manga Kogals, Sluts, and Whatever (Gal toka Bitch toka Iroiro) in 2015, with WANIMAGAZINE releasing its single volume. The English-language erotic manga platform FAKKU acquired the rights to this work in 2016 after learning about the creator’s issues with piracy.
