What is ‘With You, Our Love Will Make it Through’ About?
The anime, adapted from Chihiro Yuzuki’s shojo manga, tells the story of high schooler Mari, who encounters and eventually falls for Tsunagu, a gentle beastfolk. In a world where beastfolk are often segregated, their budding relationship explores themes of overcoming differences and societal obstacles. The manga has been serialized on Shueisha’s Manga Mee website since 2019, and Yen Press is releasing the English volumes.
The original Japanese broadcast for ‘With You, Our Love Will Make it Through’ premiered on October 14 on Tokyo MX and is streaming on Crunchyroll as it airs with English subtitles. Shin Itagaki (known for So I’m a Spider, So What?) serves as both director and series composer for the anime at studio Millepensee, with Hiromi Kimura as co-director and character designer. Akiyoshi Yasuda is composing the music for the series. The opening theme song, “Kusuguttai” (Ticklish), is performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks, while the ending theme song, “Kimi ni Naretara” (If I Can Get Used to You), is performed by Yoh Kamiyama.
The anime is scheduled for 12 episodes, with new episodes releasing weekly on Tuesdays.
