The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing has revealed three additional cast members ahead of its scheduled January 2026 premiere. Hideo Ishikawa, Sayaka Ōhara, and Makoto Koichi are joining the voice cast of the highly anticipated isekai series.

The latest announcement introduces seasoned voice actors who will bring crucial characters to life in the “Hell Mode” anime. Hideo Ishikawa is set to voice the character Rodan, while Sayaka Ōhara will take on the role of Theresia. Makoto Koichi completes the trio of new additions, cast as Matthew. These new cast members are expected to contribute significantly to the series, which is being animated by Yokohama Animation Lab.
Expanding the “Hell Mode” Voice Ensemble
These new additions join a previously announced main cast that includes several prominent voice talents. Mutsumi Tamura stars as the protagonist, Allen, with Mayu Iizuka lending her voice to Krena. Tasuku Hatanaka is cast as Dogora, and Sayaka Senbongi voices Cecil. The full ensemble aims to create a dynamic and immersive experience for viewers venturing into the world of “Hell Mode.”
“Hell Mode” Anime’s January 2026 Debut
Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing is slated to begin its broadcast in January 2026. Yokohama Animation Lab is handling the animation production for the series. Masato Tamagawa is directing the anime, with Daishiro Tanimura overseeing the series composition. The opening theme, “Haku,” will be performed by Atarayo, while the ending theme, “Sanctuary,” will be sung by Kaya.
The Story of “Hell Mode”: A Gamer’s Isekai Challenge
The anime adapts Hamuo’s adventure fantasy light novel series, which also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Enji Tetta. The story follows Kenichi Yamada, a hardcore gamer who, after the shutdown of his favorite online game, seeks a new challenge. He stumbles upon an untitled game and, without hesitation, selects the “Hell Mode” difficulty. This choice leads to his reincarnation in another world as a serf named Allen. Stripped of typical game guides or online forums, Allen must rely on his skills and knowledge to uncover the secrets of his mysterious Summoner class and rise to the top of his new, challenging world.
