Atsushi Abe voices Regulus Caldana, while Hikaru Midorikawa takes on the role of Eldas Mikayla.

The story follows Alec Ygret, a court magician who dedicated himself to support magic, aiding the crown prince in conquering dungeons. However, he is abruptly cast aside and exiled by the prince, who deems his support magic “useless.” Hitting rock bottom, Alec reconnects with Yorha Eisentz, a former comrade from the legendary party known as “Lasting Period.” Invited to rejoin his old team, Alec embarks on a new chapter, returning to dungeon exploration with the goal of becoming the strongest adventurer.

New episodes are released weekly, with the series expected to consist of at least 12 episodes.

Origins of the Story
The anime adaptation is based on a popular light novel series written by Alto and illustrated by Yuunagi. The light novels are published by Kodansha under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint, with five volumes released as of August 2024. Prior to its light novel publication, the story was originally serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website starting in October 2020. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Yuki Monji, also began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket service in July 2021 and has been compiled into seventeen volumes.
