Tokyopop has announced the acquisition of 11 new manga licenses, significantly expanding its diverse catalog. The announcement, made on Friday, November 21, 2025, includes a wide range of titles, with a strong emphasis on Boys’ Love (BL) and romance genres, largely under the company’s “LoveLove” imprint. This new wave of licenses aims to bring fresh stories and beloved creators to English-speaking audiences throughout late 2025 and into 2026.
A Focus on Romance and Boys’ Love
The majority of the newly licensed titles fall under Tokyopop’s established “LoveLove” imprint, which is dedicated to romantic and Boys’ Love stories. This strategic focus reflects the growing demand for these genres among manga readers. The new additions showcase a variety of romantic dynamics, from heartwarming to dramatic, and explore complex relationships.
