The special will premiere on December 25. Sunghoo Park, known for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, is directing the special and handling storyboards at his studio E&H production. Yamato Haishima, who worked on Fire Force, is returning to provide the screenplay. Hideyuki Morioka and Shunichi Ishimoto are handling the character designs, and Kenichiro Suehiro is composing the music.
New Cast Members
Two new cast members have been announced for the special. Kenshō Ono will voice Tella, who is Billy’s subordinate. Additionally, Takehito Koyasu will voice Balance, an original character described as an UMA who manages world balance.
The original Undead Unluck television anime series, which covered the manga’s story, ran for 24 episodes from October 2023 to March 2024 and is available for streaming on Hulu. The manga itself was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from January 2020 to January 2025.
