HIDIVE has announced the North American premiere of Chained Soldier Season 2 and the world premiere of the English dub for Dusk Beyond the End of the World at Anime Frontier 2025. The streaming service is set to showcase its upcoming Winter 2026 season with a series of special screenings and panels during the event, which runs from December 12-14 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Chained Soldier Season 2 North American Premiere
Fans of the dark fantasy anime Chained Soldier can look forward to the North American premiere of its second season at Anime Frontier. The screening is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, at 4:15 p.m. CST in Room 204AB of the Fort Worth Convention Center. This premiere will also feature special Japanese guest Yukana, the voice of Fubuki Azuma.
The second season of Chained Soldier is officially set to premiere in Japan on January 8, 2026, airing on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, MBS, and AT-X. HIDIVE has confirmed it will stream the anime in Winter 2026, continuing its coverage from the first season. Season 2 is directed by Masafumi Tamura at animation studios Passione and Hayabusa Film, with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi and character designs by Keiya Nakano. New cast members for Season 2 include Kana Hanazawa as Ren Yamashiro.
The anime, based on the manga by Takahiro and Yohei Takemura, follows Yuuki Wakura, who gains unique powers from Kyoka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corps, to fight against the monstrous Yomotsu Shuuki.
Dusk Beyond the End of the World English Dub World Premiere
Anime Frontier will also host the world premiere of the English dub for the original sci-fi drama series Dusk Beyond the End of the World. This highly anticipated screening will take place on Sunday, December 14, at 2:45 p.m. CST in Room 204AB.
Dusk Beyond the End of the World, known in Japan as Towa no Yugure, is an original anime from P.A. Works that began its Japanese broadcast in October 2025 as part of HIDIVE’s Fall 2025 simulcast season. The series explores a futuristic world where technology has reshaped society, and love can exist in myriad forms, including between humans and androids. The story follows Akira, who wakes up hundreds of years in the future after being cryogenically frozen, and meets an android named Yugure.
While the Anime Frontier event marks the world premiere of the English dub, HIDIVE previously announced that the English dub for Dusk Beyond the End of the World would premiere on December 17, 2025, at 9 AM Pacific Time. The series is expected to have at least 13 episodes, with new episodes releasing weekly with English subtitles, followed by the dubbed versions.

Beyond these two major premieres, HIDIVE is presenting a robust lineup of screenings throughout Anime Frontier 2025.

- Sunday, December 14: North American premiere of Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling (10:45 AM – 11:45 AM CST).

Anime Frontier 2025 itself will run from December 12 to December 14 at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
