A new 3D animated film for the Love Live! franchise’s Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club has officially been titled Love Live! Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club: Bloom Garden Party, with its theatrical premiere slated for Spring 2026 in Japan. The announcement was accompanied by a new visual and a teaser revealing key cast and staff involved in the project.

Film Details and Release Window

The upcoming 3D anime movie, an expansion of the Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club project, is highly anticipated by fans. While initial reports hinted at a different debut date, official sources have now confirmed the film will open in Spring 2026. The specific title, Love Live! Hasu no Sora Jogakuin School Idol Club: Bloom Garden Party, suggests a celebratory or pivotal event for the school idol group. A teaser visual for the movie has also been released.

Cast Members Revealed for the School Idol Club

The film will feature the familiar voices of the Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club members, who are expected to reprise their roles from the multimedia project. The main cast includes:

  • Nozomi Nirei as Kaho Hinoshita
  • Kokona Nonaka as Sayaka Murano

Key Staff Guiding the Production

The creative team behind the Love Live! franchise continues to shape this new cinematic experience. Hajime Yatate is credited with the original work, a name synonymous with the broader Love Live! universe. Sakurako Kimino is responsible for the original character designs, while Haruko Iizuka (known for Witch Watch! and Josee, the Tiger and the Fish) is handling the character designs for the project. The film is noted to utilize 3D CG animation.

The Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin Project: A Multimedia Phenomenon

The Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club is a unique “virtual school idol” group within the Love Live! franchise, which first launched in 2010. The group primarily operates through the Link! Like! Love Live! smartphone game app, which launched on May 20, 2023, and is published by ODD No.. This multimedia project allows fans to engage with the idols through voiced story content, character livestreams called WithxMEET, and Fes×LIVE performances. The project aims to offer a real-time “School Calendar” experience, allowing players to share in the idols’ journey from entrance to graduation over 365 days. In addition to the app, the project includes music CDs, concerts, and a manga adaptation that began in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine in November 2023. The group debuted with their first album, Dream Believers, in March 2023.
