The official staff for the television anime adaptation of Masuo Kinoko’s light novel series, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai (also known as Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki), has released its first promotional video and a new key visual. The highly anticipated anime is set to premiere in October 2025.

The newly released promotional video offers fans a glimpse into the fantastical world of “Madeus,” where the protagonist, Takeru Kamishiro, embarks on his adventure. Accompanying the promo is a vibrant new key visual that further highlights the series’ art style and main characters.
Plot and Premise of A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai follows Takeru Kamishiro, an ordinary office worker whose life takes an extraordinary turn when he is unexpectedly summoned to another world. This new world, “Madeus,” is a realm brimming with swords, magic, and various skills. Takeru finds himself equipped with enhanced physical and magical abilities, along with a unique “search” skill that allows him to locate valuable items and hidden secrets. With these newfound “cheat skills,” Takeru begins his adventure, focusing on gathering rare materials and exploring the unfamiliar fantasy landscape.
The original light novel series, written by Masuo Kinoko, first launched on the AlphaPolis platform in December 2017. It has achieved significant popularity, boasting 1.73 million copies in circulation (including digital copies) and winning both the Grand Prize and the Readers’ Choice Award at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Tomozo, has been serialized since December 2017, with Alpha Manga publishing the English digital version.
