The Story of “A Tale of the Secret Saint”
“A Tale of the Secret Saint” follows Fia, who is born into a lineage of knights and aspires to follow in their footsteps. However, a near-death experience triggers memories of her past life as a powerful Saint who defeated the Demon King. This awakening also grants her access to formidable healing and protection magic, considered “lost magic” in her current era.
Crucially, Fia also recalls her untimely death in her previous life and the inherent dangers of being a Saint. She resolves to keep her newfound powers a secret and remain on her path to knighthood, determined to avoid a similar tragic fate. The light novel series, written by Touya and illustrated by chibi, first began serialization online in January 2019 and has since been published in print by Earth Star Entertainment. Both the light novel and its manga adaptation, illustrated by Mahito Aobe, are licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. A prequel light novel series and its manga adaptation are also available.
