The light novel series, which began serialization in 2021 under KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko imprint, delves into a narrative where divine agents and their bodyguards are tasked with circulating the four seasons throughout the world. The anime is being produced by WIT Studio, a studio celebrated for its work on titles such as “Attack on Titan” and “SPY×FAMILY.” Ken Yamamoto is directing the series, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi serving as animation advisor. The English publisher, Yen Press, describes the overarching plot, which begins with Winter creating Spring, and the subsequent birth of Summer and Autumn, all carried by the Agents of the Four Seasons.
