The light novel series Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! is getting a TV anime adaptation. The anime will be produced by EMT Squared. A teaser visual has been released, along with the announcement of the main cast.
What’s the Story About?
The story is set in the world of the otome game Five Oaths of the Saint. In this world, destruction looms at the hands of a Demon Lord, and the heroine and saint, Melody, is destined to save everyone. However, Melody dedicates all her powers to maid duties. She becomes the ultimate all-works maid, mastering every skill imaginable. With the saint missing, the original plot descends into chaos.
Seven Seas Entertainment, who licensed the light novel in English, describes the story as follows: “I will become the world’s most wonderful maid!” With her skirt fluttering in black and white, the girl shouted. Her name is Melody. A reincarnated former Japanese girl, she now pursues her dream in her new life, working as an all-purpose maid for a poor count’s family in the kingdom of Théolas. When she makes it, even cheap tea turns into a luxury brew, and a dilapidated mansion is quickly restored to new! Cleaning, serving, hunting, DIY—leave it all to her and her powerful magic. Unbeknownst to Melody, this world is actually an otome game, and she is the most powerful and invincible heroine, the saint! Yet, she remains oblivious to this fact. Romance with handsome men? Attacks by the Demon Lord? Work comes first! A fantasy of misunderstood work that unknowingly shatters destiny!

Author’s Comment
Atekichi, the original author, commented on the anime adaptation: “The words ‘anime adaptation’ sound almost too good to be true. I always dreamed of ‘someday,’ and now that day has really come, I’m genuinely amazed. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported and encouraged the work. The characters that existed in my imagination have been drawn in illustrations, then in comics and audiobooks, and now finally taking flight into the world of anime. Melody loves maids. For that reason alone, I would be happy if everyone could watch over her as she pursues a wonderful maid life”.
Additional Information
