‘Captivated, By You’ is an anthology series that explores the intricate relationships and unique experiences of students within an all-boys school. The anime features a prominent voice cast, including Kenshō Ono as Miyoshi Hayashi, Kōki Uchiyama as Jōji Ema, Yūki Ono as Yuichi Medaka, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Akira Nikaidou.

‘Let’s Go Karaoke!’ Expands with Original Episode
Fans of ‘Let’s Go Karaoke!’ (Karaoke Iko!) have reason to celebrate, as it has been announced that the anime will receive an original episode. This special installment is set to delve into the day of the yakuza karaoke competition, an event central to the manga’s premise. The original episode will air following the broadcast of all five episodes of the ‘Captivated, By You’ anime.
The ‘Let’s Go Karaoke!’ anime, which began its broadcast on ABEMA and TV Tokyo on July 24, 2025, adapts Yama Wayama’s popular manga. The story follows the unusual friendship that forms between Satomi Oka, the head of a junior high school choir, and Kyouji Narita, a yakuza lieutenant. Kyouji seeks Satomi’s guidance in singing to prepare for an annual karaoke competition held by his boss, where the loser faces the grim consequence of receiving a tattoo.
The anime features Shun Horie as the voice of Satomi Oka and Daisuke Ono as Kyouji Narita. The opening theme song for ‘Let’s Go Karaoke!’ is “HOWL,” performed by Ayumu Imazu. Crunchyroll is also streaming this series.
Both anime adaptations share key staff members from Doga Kobo, including director Asami Nakatani and series script supervisor Yoshimi Narita, ensuring a consistent creative vision across these highly anticipated projects. Both titles are also scheduled for a stage presentation at the KyoMAF event in Kyoto on September 20.
