Isekai fans, get your appetites ready! Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is officially returning for a second season in 2025. The announcement, made at the Overlap Bunko 10th Anniversary Memorial Fest, has fans eager for more of Tsuyoshi Mukouda’s culinary adventures in a magical realm.
A Delicious Premise
For those new to the series, Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill follows Tsuyoshi Mukouda, an ordinary salaryman who gets mistakenly summoned to a fantasy world. Unlike the heroes summoned with him, Mukouda’s skill, “Online Supermarket,” seems rather underwhelming at first. However, this ability to purchase modern goods, especially food, from Japan becomes his greatest asset.
Using his cooking skills and access to Japanese ingredients, Mukouda creates dishes that attract powerful beings. The first to be lured in by the delicious aromas is Fel, a legendary wolf who becomes Mukouda’s familiar. Together, they embark on a journey filled with delicious food, comedic moments, and thrilling encounters.
What to Expect in Season 2
While the specific plot details for season 2 are still under wraps, viewers can anticipate a continuation of Mukouda’s adventures, building upon the foundation laid in the first season. Expect to see more of:
- Mouthwatering Meals: Mukouda will undoubtedly continue to create incredible dishes using his “Online Supermarket” skill, introducing new and exciting culinary creations to the fantasy world.
- Comedic Interactions: The dynamic between Mukouda, Fel, and Sui (a slime who also becomes Mukouda’s familiar) is a highlight of the series. Their interactions are sure to bring plenty of laughs in the new season.
- New Characters and Challenges: As Mukouda continues his journey, he’ll encounter new characters, monsters, and possibly even divine beings, leading to fresh challenges and opportunities.
