The highly anticipated TV anime, Arknights: Rise from Ember, has unveiled its captivating opening sequence video, offering fans a vibrant preview ahead of its July 4, 2025, premiere. The creditless opening features the powerful new song “End of Days” by popular artist ReoNa, setting an intense tone for the upcoming season.
This third anime adaptation of the popular tower defense mobile game, Arknights, is produced by Yostar Pictures, the same studio behind the previous seasons, Arknights: Prelude to Dawn and Arknights: Perish in Frost. The new season is set to continue the compelling narrative, adapting the latter half of the Main Theme’s Act I: Shatter of a Vision story arc, specifically covering events from Episodes 07 and 08 of the game’s main story.
The revealed opening sequence showcases the animation quality and character designs fans have come to expect from the Arknights anime. Under the direction of Yuki Watanabe, with Masaki Nishikawa serving as assistant director, the series promises a faithful and visually stunning rendition of the game’s intricate world. Aya Takafuji is responsible for the animation character designs, while Yuki Hayashi returns to compose the music, ensuring a consistent and immersive auditory experience.
Arknights: Rise from Ember will debut on July 4, 2025, at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX in Japan, with subsequent airings on KBS Kyoto and Sun TV.
