“End of Days” Sets the Tone
The newly released opening sequence features the song “End of Days,” performed by the acclaimed artist ReoNa. ReoNa has previously contributed to the Arknights anime franchise, having performed the opening theme “Alive” for the first season, Arknights: Prelude to Dawn, and the ending theme “R.I.P.” for the second season, Arknights: Perish in Frost. This continued collaboration promises to deliver a powerful musical introduction to the latest installment of the popular anime.
Premiere and Streaming Details
Arknights: Rise from Ember is slated to begin its broadcast on July 4, 2025, at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX in Japan. Subsequent airings will follow on KBS Kyoto and Sun TV, with BS11 joining on July 6 and Animax on August 2. For international viewers, Crunchyroll will stream the anime concurrently with its Japanese debut, starting July 4, 2025.

The anime adaptation is based on the widely popular Arknights mobile game developed by Chinese studio Hypergryph. Arknights: Rise from Ember continues the narrative from the previous season, Arknights: Perish in Frost, which concluded its run in October 2023. The production is once again handled by Yostar Pictures, with Yuki Watanabe returning as director. The series delves deeper into the dystopian world of Terra, a land ravaged by mysterious Catastrophes and the deadly disease Oripathy, focusing on the struggles of the infected individuals and the efforts of Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company, to find a cure and combat the militant Reunion Movement.
