Arknights: Rise from Ember is the third television anime season based on Hypergryph’s popular Arknights mobile game. Aya Takafuji is responsible for the animation character designs, and Yuki Hayashi composes the music.
The anime is set to begin broadcasting on July 4, 2025, on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV, with later airings on BS11 and Animax. Crunchyroll will stream the series globally starting on the same day.
Continuing the Rhodes Island Narrative
Arknights: Rise from Ember continues the animated adaptation of the tactical RPG/tower defense mobile game, picking up the narrative threads left by Arknights: Perish in Frost. The story of Arknights unfolds in the dystopian world of Terra, where rare and devastating Catastrophes force humanity to reside in nomadic cities. These Catastrophes also bring forth Originium, a powerful mineral that serves as a valuable energy source but also causes Oripathy, an incurable and deadly disease. The anime centers on Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company that aids Oripathy-infected individuals and engages in paramilitary actions against the Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization advocating for the Infected through violent means. The new season will follow Amiya and her allies as they venture into the central area of Chernobog.
