The highly anticipated “Arknights: Rise from Ember” TV anime, the third season based on Hypergryph’s popular mobile game, has revealed its opening sequence video. The opening theme song, titled “End of Days,” is performed by ReoNa.
The opening sequence was unveiled on Friday, June 27, 2025, ahead of the anime’s premiere on July 4, 2025. “Arknights: Rise from Ember” will debut on Tokyo MX at 11:30 p.m. JST, with subsequent airings on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and Animax. For international viewers, Crunchyroll will stream the anime starting July 4.
Yostar Pictures is producing the animation, with Yuki Watanabe directing the series. Masaki Nishikawa serves as assistant director, while Aya Takafuji is responsible for the animation character designs, and Yuki Hayashi composes the music. The ending theme song for “Arknights: Rise from Ember” is “Truth,” performed by Hana Itoki.
The anime continues the narrative from “Arknights: Perish in Frost,” which concluded last year. The story is set in the world of Terra, a land afflicted by devastating Catastrophes that lead to a deadly, incurable disease called Oripathy. The plot centers on Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company that endeavors to find a cure for Oripathy and address the challenges faced by those infected. Rhodes Island frequently undertakes paramilitary actions against the Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization that employs violent tactics against governments perceived as oppressing the Infected. The upcoming season will follow Amiya and her allies as they venture into the central area of Chernobog, near Ryumon.
