The staff behind “Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER,” the highly anticipated third television anime season based on Hypergryph’s popular “Arknights” mobile game, revealed the anime’s opening sequence video on Friday, June 27, 2025. The opening theme song, “End of Days,” is performed by ReoNa.
This new season is set to premiere on July 4, 2025, airing on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV, with later broadcasts on BS11 and Animax. Crunchyroll will also stream the anime starting July 4.
The “Arknights” anime series adapts the strategic RPG mobile game. The first season, “Arknights: Prelude to Dawn,” premiered in October 2022, followed by the second season, “Arknights: Perish in Frost,” in October 2023. “Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER” continues the narrative, which centers around Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company combating the deadly Oripathy disease and the Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization.
Yuki Watanabe directs the anime at Yostar Pictures, with Masaki Nishikawa as assistant director. Aya Takafuji is responsible for animation character design, and Yuki Hayashi composes the music. The series features a returning cast, including Tomoyo Kurosawa as Amiya, Yuki Kaida as Doctor, and Maaya Sakamoto as Talulah. Hana Itoki performs the ending theme song, “Truth.”
