Episode 4 of the anime series “Bad Girl” escalates the comedic struggles of Yuu Yuutani as she continues her misguided quest to become a “bad delinquent” to impress her idol, disciplinary committee chairman Atori Mizutori. This installment sees Yuu’s unique dynamic with Atori further defined, while also expanding on the antics of the Adori-sama Daisuki Club (ADC), particularly the eccentric kindergarten members.

Yuu’s Pet Status and the Kindergarten Executive Board

The episode opens with Yuu once again at the kindergarten, expressly invited by Maria, Atori’s biggest fan among the young students. What initially appears to be a simple club meeting quickly devolves into a hilarious pantomime of a corporate executive board, with the children even devising a Multi-Level Marketing scheme to spread their adoration for Atori.

A key comedic moment unfolds when Yuu’s phone chimes, playing an “Atori verbal abuse ASMR” clip of Atori saying “I hate you”—a soundbite Yuu uses to cure her hiccups. This leads the children to call Atori directly, prompting Atori to confirm that she views Yuu as her “pet.” While initially disheartening for Yuu, a later pep talk from Suzu helps her come to terms with this unique relationship dynamic.

Atori’s Artistic Endeavors and Rura’s Growing Fascination

The second act of the episode shifts focus to Yuu discovering Atori’s surprisingly terrible drawings. In a display of unwavering devotion, Yuu interprets these obtuse images as abstract depictions of mythical creatures, only for Atori to reveal they are simply drawings of her walk to school and her family’s dogs. While a single joke stretched out, this segment highlights Yuu’s idealized perception of Atori.

Later, the episode introduces a new dynamic with Rura becoming increasingly captivated by Yuu’s “smol bean” antics and exaggerated reactions to a movie’s mature themes. This growing rapport between Yuu, Atori, and Rura, culminating in Rura’s plea to be called “Ruu-senpai,” suggests a developing friendship and potential for new comedic situations.

The Ever-Expanding ADC and Episode Broadcast

Episode 4 further expands the cast of the Adori-sama Daisuki Club (ADC), introducing new characters voiced by prominent talents such as Sumire Uesaka, Saori Hayami, Maaya Uchida, and Akari Kito. These new additions join existing members like those voiced by Yui Horie, Ayane Sakura, and Sora Amamiya, promising more dynamic performances and interactions within the quirky group of Atori enthusiasts.

Episode 4 of “Bad Girl” premiered on July 26 via streaming platforms, with broadcasts on TOKYO MX and BS11. The episode continues to deliver lively performances and comedic moments as Yuu navigates her path to becoming a “bad delinquent” and her evolving relationships with Atori and her eccentric classmates.
