The upcoming anime film Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League has released an English clip, offering a sneak peek into the wild sequel to the 2018 Batman Ninja. The film sees Batman and his allies confronting a new threat: an invasion of Gotham City by Yakuza-style criminals led by an alternate version of the Justice League.
Story Premise of Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League
The Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League plot kicks off right after the events of the first film. The Batman Family returns to present-day Gotham City after their time-traveling adventure in feudal Japan. However, they quickly discover that Japan has vanished, replaced by a giant island called “Hinomoto” floating above Gotham. Soon, hordes of Yakuza descend from the sky, attacking Gotham’s citizens. Simultaneously, the Justice League has disappeared. Batman must then investigate this strange phenomenon and confront the Yakuza League, a group of super-powered individuals resembling the Justice League, to save Gotham.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is scheduled for digital release on March 18, 2025. It will be available on platforms like Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and Vudu. A physical release on Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD will follow on April 15, 2025, with special features such as behind-the-scenes glimpses.
