Sung Hoo Park’s original anime series, “Bullet/Bullet,” has just released its second promotional video, revealing the ending theme song “Glass Door” by the rock band Newspeak. This exciting announcement follows the recent unveiling of the opening theme song and the confirmation of a two-part theatrical release in Japan. Here’s everything you need to know about this action-packed anime!

New Promo Video and Ending Theme

The second promotional video for “Bullet/Bullet” premiered recently, giving fans a taste of the anime’s world and characters. The highlight of this new promo is the reveal of the ending theme song, “Glass Door,” performed by the rock band Newspeak. The song adds another layer of excitement to the anime, complementing the visuals and story.

Opening Theme and Premiere

Prior to the ending theme reveal, the anime’s staff released the first promotional video, which featured the opening theme song “WORK HARD” by Japanese rapper Chanmina. This high-energy track sets the tone for the series, promising a thrilling ride.

“Bullet/Bullet” is scheduled to begin streaming on Disney+’s “Star” brand on July 16, 2025, with the first eight episodes. The remaining episodes, from nine to twelve, will be available starting August 13, 2025.

Theatrical Release

In addition to the streaming release, “Bullet/Bullet” has been reconstructed into a two-part movie edition for a theatrical release in Japan. The first part, titled “Dangan Shissō-hen” (Bullet Run arc), will premiere on July 25, 2025. The second part, “Dangan Kessen-hen” (Bullet Final Battle arc), will hit theaters on August 15, 2025. These screenings will take place at Shinjuku Piccadilly and select theaters across Tokyo.

Story and Setting

“Bullet/Bullet” is set in a near-future where civilization has collapsed, and the world has become a wasteland. People survive by using relics from the past. The story follows Gear, a boy who works at a junk shop, as he teams up with Shirokuma, a gambling addict, and a Qu-0213 robot with four personalities. Together, they run a “theft business,” reclaiming items that were unjustly stolen.

One day, Gear receives a request from a mysterious girl named Noa, who is being pursued by an assassin, to steal back an item. This sets the stage for an action-packed adventure filled with danger and intrigue.

The Talented Staff Behind Bullet/Bullet

“Bullet/Bullet” boasts a talented team of creators. Sunghoo Park, known for his work on “JUJUTSU KAISEN,” “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie,” and “NINJA KAMUI,” directs the anime. Aki Kindaichi handles the series composition, while Takahiro Yoshimatsu (“A Place Further Than the Universe”) is responsible for character design and serves as chief animation director. Hiroaki Tsutsumi (“Dr. STONE”) composes the music. The animation production is handled by E&H production, Park’s own studio.

The Cast

The anime features a stellar cast, including:

  • Marina Inoue as Gear
  • Kazuhiro Yamaji as Shirokuma (Polar Bear)
  • Rie Kugimiya as Qu-0213 Nosa-ane
  • Kana Hanazawa as Qu-0213 Kau-ane
  • Tomokazu Seki as Qu-0213 Naka-ani
  • Ai Orikasa as Qu-0213 Ei-baba/Dinner
  • Asami Seto as Noa
  • Makoto Furukawa as Barrel
  • Takamasa Mogi as Wheel
  • Yūki Wakai as Rin
  • Yoshihisa Kawahara as Breakfast
  • Ai Kakuma as Afternoon Tea
  • Nao Tamura as Lunch
  • Mayumi Shintani as Brunch
  • Shinichirō Kamio as Sushimaru Tempura
  • Hironori Kondō as Destro Inu (Destro Dog)
  • Yūichi Nakamura as Batting Center Saitō

With its intriguing premise, talented staff, and exciting music, “Bullet/Bullet” is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated anime of the year. Be sure to catch it on Disney+ or in theaters this July and August!
