The highly anticipated second season of the Call of the Night anime introduces new vocal talent to its cast and confirms the return of musical duo Creepy Nuts for both its opening and ending theme songs. The new season officially premiered on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Tomokazu Sugita Joins the Cast
Renowned voice actor Tomokazu Sugita has been officially announced as a new cast member for Call of the Night Season 2. He will be lending his voice to the character LG, who is depicted as a follower of Midori Kohakobe. In addition to Sugita, other new cast members for the second season include Rina Satō as Kiku Hoshimi and Maaya Uchida as Haru Nanakusa.
Creepy Nuts Returns for Opening and Ending Themes
The hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts, who were responsible for the first season’s theme songs, are confirmed to perform both the opening and ending theme songs for Call of the Night Season 2. The ending theme song will be “Nemure” (Sleep), which became digitally available on July 5, 2025. Furthermore, Creepy Nuts also performs the opening theme song titled “Mirage,” released digitally on July 4, 2025. The original Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) manga, upon which the anime is based, was notably inspired by a song of the same name by Creepy Nuts, released in 2018.
