The official website for the Chiikawa anime adaptation of Nagano’s manga announced that the production team is working on a new series of episodes. To allow for production, regular broadcasts will cease in April, with a “revival” rebroadcast of older episodes filling the schedule.

During the break, the rebroadcasts will continue to air within Fuji TV’s Mezamashi Terebi program every Tuesday and Friday at approximately 7:40 am (JST).

“Chiikawa” Fortune Telling to Be Powered Up
While the anime is on hiatus, the Chiikawa Fortune Telling segment on Mezamashi TV will receive a “power-up.” The segment will feature five new animations, bringing the total to 15. The broadcast time will also shift from around 5:58 AM to around 6:58 AM (JST).
