What is “Everyday Host” About?
“Everyday Host” is a gag comedy that revolves around the lives of the employees at “Club One,” a cozy host club located near Shinjuku. The story follows ex-businessman Sekiguchi, who decides to change his career and become a host after getting sick of his previous job.
The club is full of quirky and unique characters, including:
- A younger-brother type host with over 20 years of experience.
- A former idol.
- A rough host who is obsessed with social games.
The manga series was first launched by Nimo Goto on pixiv, Niconico Seiga, and their personal website in 2020. Kadokawa later picked up the rights to the series and has published five collected e-book volumes.
Rareko Directs the Anime Adaptation
The anime adaptation is directed and written by Rareko (known for Aggretsuko) at studio Fanworks. Rareko’s signature style of humor and animation perfectly captures the essence of the original manga.

The “Everyday Host” anime premiered on TV Tokyo on April 4, 2025, and is airing for two cours (quarters of the year).
