Onmyō Kaiten Re:verse is an action fantasy story set in Denji Heian-kyo, an alternate version of Heian era Japan’s Kyoto City. The story revolves around Takeru Narihira, a delinquent high school student who finds himself transported to this parallel city after a tragic accident.
In Denji Heian-kyo, Takeru encounters Tsukimiya, a girl who has frequently appeared in his dreams. However, their reunion is short-lived as they are both killed by an Oni. But fate has other plans, and Takeru awakens again in Denji Heian-kyo, realizing he has the power to leap through time.
Determined to save Tsukimiya and rewrite their destiny, Takeru resolves to learn the mystical arts of onmyōjutsu and become an onmyōji sorcerer. He seeks guidance from the legendary Abe no Seimei to master these techniques and confront the threats looming over Denji Heian-kyo.

Onmyō Kaiten Re:verse is scheduled to premiere on July 3, 2025, on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs in Japan, starting on July 2, 2025.
