About the Story
Detectives These Days Are Crazy! follows Keiichiro Nagumo, a once-great detective who now finds himself as a typical middle-aged man out of touch with modern technology. His life takes an unexpected turn when a high school girl named Mashiro appears, wanting to be his assistant. Together, they form an unlikely duo, solving cases and bringing a fresh perspective to the world of detective work.
The original manga series by Masakuni Igarashi began serialization in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine in April 2016 and is still ongoing. The manga has been compiled into 15 Japanese volumes, with the first volume released in English on April 28, 2025.
