The upcoming anime series Digimon Beatbreak has officially announced Miyu Irino and Megumi Han as its lead voice cast members. The new television anime, part of the long-running Digimon franchise, is slated to premiere in October 2025.

Miyu Irino will voice the human protagonist of the series, a 15-year-old high school student named Tomorō Tenma. Irino has a notable career in voice acting, having previously voiced characters such as Jinta in Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day and Haku in Spirited Away. He expressed his excitement for the role, noting that Digimon was a significant part of his childhood.
Megumi Han has been cast as Tomorō’s partner Digimon, Gekkomon. Han is well-known for her roles as Gon Freecss in Hunter × Hunter and Takeru in various Digimon Adventure content. She shared her long-standing desire to voice a partner Digimon, viewing this role as an opportunity to contribute back to the franchise and its dedicated fanbase. Gekkomon is identified as a reptile-type, Data-species Digimon in its growth stage.

This new series marks the latest installment in the Digimon anime saga, which began with Digimon Adventure in 1999 and has since spawned numerous TV series and films. The anime’s initial teaser trailer and key visual were revealed earlier in 2025, hinting at “emotion-devouring digital lifeforms” as a central theme.
