The official website for the upcoming Digimon Beatbreak anime has unveiled a new promotional video, key visual, additional cast members, and staff, confirming its premiere date of October 5, 2025, on Fuji TV and other channels. This highly anticipated series was first announced earlier this year during Digimon Con 2025, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the original Digimon Adventure anime.
Premiere Details and Production Team
Digimon Beatbreak is set to debut on October 5, 2025. The anime is being directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto, known for his work on One Piece (episodes 352-679, One Piece Film Gold, Star Twinkle Precure), at Toei Animation. Ryota Yamaguchi, who worked on Sailor Moon Stars and Medabots, is handling the series composition. Takahiro Kojima is the character designer, with Kenji Watanabe credited for the Digimon designs and Akihiro Asanuma for animation Digimon design. The art director is Ayaka Jin, and Sayoko Yokoyama is the color designer. Yusuke Ozone is the CG director, Tomoyuki Ishiyama is the compositing director, and Eiichi Nishimura is the editor. The music for the series is being composed by Alisa Okehazama.
Expanding the Cast of Characters
Joining the previously announced Miyu Irino as protagonist Tomoro Tenma and Megumi Han as his partner Digimon Gekkomon, several new cast members have been revealed.

- Reina Sakuya (Voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa): A 16-year-old and a “loose cannon” member of Golden Dawn, who often collapses from overusing her E-Pulse. Her partner Digimon is Pristimon.
- Pristimon (Voiced by Mutsumi Tamura): Reina’s raccoon-like Digimon partner with sharp metal claws.
- Makoto Kuonji (Voiced by Arisa Sekine): A ten-year-old member of Golden Dawn who specializes in analysis research. Her partner is Kiropumon.
- Kyo Sawashiro (Voiced by Yōhei Azakami): He leads the bounty hunter team “Golden Dawn.” His partner is Murasamemon.
Additional cast members include Misaki Kuno as Chiropmon and Daiki Hamano as Murasamemon.
Story and Setting of Digimon Beatbreak
The new anime is set in the near future, where an AI support device called “Sapotama” is powered by “e-Pulse,” generated by human thoughts and emotions. From the shadows of this technological advancement, terrifying monsters known as Digimon appear, evolving by consuming e-Pulse. Tomoro Tenma’s extraordinary journey begins when Gekkomon suddenly emerges from his Sapotama. Tomoro, alongside Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the “Golden Dawn” bounty hunting team, embarks on an adventure that will forge a new future for both humans and Digimon. The series is expected to feature a diverse cast of characters across various age groups.
