Toei Animation has released the final trailer for the upcoming anime series, Digimon Beatbreak, offering fans a sneak peek at the action and officially previewing MADKID’s opening theme song, “Mad Pulse.” The highly anticipated series is set to premiere on October 5, 2025, in Japan, with Hulu confirming streaming availability for Japanese episodes with English subtitles on the same day.
A New Digital Adventure Unfolds
The Digimon Beatbreak anime, a new entry in the long-running Digimon franchise, promises a fresh narrative centered around the concept of “e-Pulse.” This energy source, generated by human thoughts and emotions, powers an AI support device called “Sapotama.” However, from the shadows of this technological advancement, terrifying Digimon emerge, evolving by consuming e-Pulse.
The story follows 15-year-old protagonist Tomoro Tenma, voiced by Miyu Irino, who finds himself drawn into an extraordinary experience after a chance encounter with Gekkomon, his partner Digimon voiced by Megumi Han, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. Tomoro eventually joins a bounty hunting team known as “Glowing Dawn” (initially referred to as “Golden Dawn”) alongside fellow members Kyo Sawashiro (Yohei Azakami) and their Digimon. The trailer highlights intense battles and the bond forming between the human and Digimon characters as they navigate this new digital threat.
