The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Disney Twisted-Wonderland is gearing up for its premiere, and new details have emerged, exciting fans of the mobile game. A first animated teaser promotional video debuted at AnimeJapan 2025, unveiling a new cast member, additional staff, and the opening theme song for the first season, Episode of Heartslabyul. The anime is set to stream on Disney+ in October 2025, promising to bring the world of Twisted-Wonderland to life with rich animation and compelling storytelling.
New Cast Member Joins the Ranks
The teaser promotional video revealed that Yōhei Azakami will be joining the cast as Yūken Enma, the protagonist seen in the manga adaptation of the original game. Yūken is a kendō club member at Hibari Metropolitan High School who finds himself transported to Twisted-Wonderland and enrolled at Night Raven College, a prestigious magic training academy. Azakami expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “I was, of course, aware of the work ‘Twisted Wonderland’, and I also knew that fans’ expectations were growing in preparation for it being made into an anime. But I never imagined that I would be involved in it…! I may be a newcomer, but in true Yuuken style, I will tighten my loincloth and approach the recording sessions with enthusiasm! I look forward to working with you all!”.

Takumi Ozawa, the composer for the game, has contributed new tracks for the teaser and is composing the music for the anime.

The game focuses on depictions of villains from various Disney franchises, reimagined as students at Night Raven College, a prestigious magic academy.
The game is described as a “villains academy adventure game” with rhythm game elements and battles. The story begins when the protagonist is summoned to another world by a magic mirror and arrives at Night Raven College. With no way back home, the protagonist is offered protection by the school’s headmaster and gets to know the students while trying to find a way back to their original world.
