Additionally, Komaru Kurikoma, a VTuber from the Aogiri High School group, will make a guest appearance as Itō-san, Akane’s junior colleague at work.

The story delves into Akane’s life after she drunkenly purchases Nadeko, an android that is both a maid and an illegal “Romance-roid.” Their cohabitation explores the blurring lines between humanity and artificial intelligence in a comedic and sensual manner. The anime is set to premiere in January 2026, promising to bring the manga’s “sweet and slightly naughty” narrative to the screen.
