The Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ anime has concluded its run, with the fourth and final episode premiering on February 28, 2025. However, fans of the Duel Masters franchise won’t have to wait long for new content, as a new manga and anime series titled Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~ is on the horizon.

Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ Concludes

The Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ anime, also known as Duel Masters LOST: Reaper of the Moon, premiered on December 21, 2024, on the franchise’s “DuelTube” channel on YouTube and other platforms. The anime served as a sequel to the Duel Masters LOST Tsuioku no Suishō net anime. The manga adaptation of Gekka no Shinigami launched on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website on August 8, 2024, and ended serialization on February 27, 2025. The first compiled book volume was published on February 27, 2025, with the second and final volume scheduled for release on March 28, 2025. Despite the manga ending, the final chapter hinted at a third part for the Duel Masters LOST manga series.

Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~: The Next Chapter

A new manga and anime series, Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~ (Duel Masters LOST ~Oblivion Sun~), has been announced as the successor to Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~. The new manga is set to launch on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website this spring. Further details regarding the anime adaptation, such as the release date and format, are yet to be revealed.

Duel Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~ is listed as a sequel to Duel Masters LOST: Gekka no Shinigami.

Duel Masters LOST Project: A Continuing Story

Both the Gekka no Shinigami and Bōkyaku no Taiyō series are part of the larger Duel Masters LOST project. Duel Masters LOST is described as an alternate timeline set during the events of the Duel Masters Win anime series. It explores a scenario where the protagonist, Win Kirifuda, suffers a defeat and loses his memories, leading him into a high-stakes battle to reclaim his lost past.
