The highly anticipated “Arknights: Rise from Ember” TV anime has officially unveiled its creditless opening sequence video, offering fans a first look at the visuals accompanying the new season. The opening theme, titled “End of Days,” is performed by the acclaimed artist ReoNa. This revelation builds excitement for the anime’s premiere, slated for July 4, 2025.
A Glimpse into the Next Chapter of Terra
“Arknights: Rise from Ember” marks the third television anime season adapting the popular Chinese developer Hypergryph’s Arknights mobile game. The new season is set to continue the compelling narrative of the dystopian world of Terra, where a devastating mineral known as Originium has brought both technological advancements and a deadly incurable disease called Oripathy.
The series centers on Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company striving to find a cure for Oripathy and combat the militant Reunion Movement, a terrorist organization composed of infected individuals. This season is expected to adapt the latter half of the Main Theme’s Act I: Shatter of a Vision story arc, specifically episodes 07 and 08 of the game’s narrative. The previous seasons, “Arknights: Prelude to Dawn” and “Arknights: Perish in Frost,” are currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, which will also stream “Rise from Ember” upon its debut.
Production and Creative Team
The animation for “Arknights: Rise from Ember” is handled by Yostar Pictures, the same studio responsible for the previous installments. Yuki Watanabe returns as the director, overseeing the series’ visual direction and storytelling. Masaki Nishikawa serves as assistant director, while Aya Takafuji is credited with the animation character designs. The music for the series is composed by Yuki Hayashi.
In addition to ReoNa’s “End of Days” as the opening theme, Hana Itoki performs the ending theme song, “Truth.” The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV on July 4, with later broadcasts on BS11 and Animax.
