The highly anticipated opening sequence video for Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER, the third television anime season based on Hypergryph’s popular mobile game Arknights, was officially revealed on Friday, June 27, 2025. The sequence features the opening theme song “End of Days,” performed by anisong singer ReoNa.
The new season is set to premiere on July 4, 2025, airing on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. It will also be available for streaming on Crunchyroll starting the same day. The “End of Days” single by ReoNa is scheduled for release on August 6, 2025.
Yostar Pictures is producing the animation for Arknights: RISE FROM EMBER, with Yuki Watanabe directing and Masaki Nishikawa serving as assistant director. Aya Takafuji is handling the animation character design, while Yuki Hayashi is composing the music.
This third season follows Arknights: PRELUDE TO DAWN, which premiered in October 2022, and Arknights: PERISH IN FROST, which debuted in October 2023. The anime continues to adapt the narrative of the Arknights mobile game, which centers on a pharmaceutical company called Rhodes Island working to combat a deadly disease known as Oripathy and the rebellious Reunion Movement.
