Sigma Torai’s adult manga series, Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajuu! (その警察官、ときどき野獣!, lit. “That Policeman, Sometimes a Beast!”), is set to be adapted into a TV anime. The series, serialized in Ichijinsha’s LOVEBITES label, revolves around the spicy relationship between an ordinary office lady and a policeman.
Story and Premise
Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajuu! centers on Hiyori, a timid office worker, who fractures her arm in an accident. Kumano, the policeman present at the scene, feels responsible and offers to support her by living together. Hiyori is initially relieved, trusting Kumano because he is a police officer. However, she soon discovers that Kumano has very little self-restraint, leading to a series of intimate situations. The manga is described as shojo manga for adults, focusing on the romantic and erotic aspects of the characters’ relationship.

The first volume was released on December 1, 2019, and the series is still ongoing. The manga has reached its 10th volume, with Ichijinsha scheduled to publish it on April 1, 2025. The series has two million copies in circulation.
