Crunchyroll has announced that the fantasy anime series, Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest, will receive an English dub, with all 12 episodes launching simultaneously on Tuesday, August 5. This move brings the popular series, which premiered in January 2025, to a wider audience.
English Dub Cast and Crew Revealed
The English voice cast for the anime features Nazeeh Tarsha as the protagonist Ein, Reshel Mae as Yuri, and Katie Wetch as Ursula. Other key cast members include Trey Upton as Zoid, Taylor Murphy as Jolene, Lindsey Seidel as Claudia, and Jamie Snowden as Jasper.
The production of the English dub is overseen by a talented crew, with Jason Lord serving as the Voice Director, Susie Nixon as Producer, and Dominique French handling the adaptation. William Dewell is the Mixer, and Jamal Roberson is the Engineer.
The Story of Ein: From “Trash Picker” to Powerhouse
The anime follows the journey of Ein, who is born with the “Appraiser” class, widely considered the weakest and most unfortunate job in his world, granting only the ability to appraise objects. Initially subjected to cruel treatment and labeled a “litter collector” by his peers, Ein develops self-hatred and lives in self-abasement.
However, Ein’s destiny takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Yuri, the spirit of the World Tree, and her protector, Ursula the sage. Yuri bestows upon Ein the “Spirit Eye,” and with Ursula’s guidance, he learns to harness its power, leading him to grow increasingly stronger. This newfound strength empowers Ein to embark on a journey with Yuri to fulfill her desire to meet her World Tree sisters, overcoming various challenges along the way with his inherent kindness and courage.
