About Fate/strange Fake
Fate/strange Fake is an anime adaptation of the light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shizuki Morii, part of Type-Moon’s expansive Fate franchise. The story centers on a “fake” Holy Grail War in the American city of Snowfield, an imperfect replication of the Third Holy Grail War. Due to irregularities in its execution, the Saber class is missing, and unusual Servants are summoned, leading to a twisted and chaotic conflict. The Mage’s Association dispatches investigators to uncover the truth behind this anomalous Grail War. The Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn special, which originally aired in 2023, served as a precursor to this new television series.
