The highly anticipated third and final season of the Fire Force anime has revealed its main trailer, alongside details on theme song artists and additional cast members, ahead of its split-cour premiere. The first part of the final season is set to ignite screens on April 4, 2025, with the second cour following in January 2026.
Igniting the Final Arc: Trailer and Release Details
A new main trailer for Fire Force Season 3 was unveiled during IGN Fan Fest 2025, offering fans a glimpse into the impending climactic battles. Crunchyroll had also previously revealed a special trailer at Anime Expo 2024. The final season, animated once again by David Production, will be split into two parts. The initial episodes will begin airing on April 4, 2025, with the grand finale scheduled for January 2026. Fans outside of Japan will be able to stream the series on Crunchyroll, and it will also be available on Netflix.
The storyline for the final season is confirmed to delve into the “Obi’s Rescue Arc,” picking up from the events of the previous season. Tatsuma Minamikawa returns to direct the final season, with Hideyuki Morioka reprising his role as character designer. Sei Tsuguta is handling the scripts and series composition.
Fiery Anthems: Theme Song Artists Announced
The musical landscape for the final season is set with the announcement of the opening and ending theme song artists. Japanese fashion punk band Queen Bee will perform the opening theme song, titled “Tsuyobi” (meaning “High Flame”). Queen Bee has a history of contributing to popular anime series, including Chainsaw Man and Oshi no Ko.
For the ending theme, Japanese hip-hop group Umeda Cypher will be taking the reins with their song “Urusiren.” The title “Urusiren” is a unique blend of the Japanese words “urusai” (loud) and “siren,” colloquially referencing the sound of a fire truck’s siren.
Expanding the Ensemble: New Voice Cast Members
The Fire Force universe is expanding its cast for its ultimate installment. Two new voice actors have been announced to join the ensemble:
- Yoko Hikasa will lend her voice to the character Gold.
- Masaki Aizawa will take on the role of Dragon.
These additions are expected to bring further depth and excitement to the concluding narrative of Shinra and Company 8’s battle against spontaneous human combustion and the mysteries surrounding Adolla.
