Story Arcs and Plot Expectations

  • Obi’s Rescue Arc (Chapters 175-197): The season kicks off with the aftermath of Captain Obi’s arrest. Company 8 is branded as traitors and hunted by the Tokyo Imperial Army. They must team up with Joker to rescue their captain from the White-Clad.

  • Final Pillar Arc: Some predict the first part of Season 3 will adapt through to the Final Pillar arc (chapters 234-239).

Synopsis

Shinra and his team are on the verge of uncovering a major secret about the world. Just as the Special Fire Force companies are uniting to face a looming disaster, Captain Obi is captured. Hunted by the Empire, Company 8 must fight alone to rescue Obi and stop the Evangelist. They will face a new assassin and the corrupt Captain Burns.
