The final season of the anime series Fire Force is set to blaze onto screens with the addition of three new voice actors. Shinji Kawada, Masaya Matsukaze, and Yūko Sanpei will be joining the cast to voice new characters in the highly anticipated third season.
New Cast Members Revealed for Fire Force Season 3
The new voice actors and their respective roles have been announced:
- Shinji Kawada as Stream: A butcher who manipulates air currents created by flames to generate tornadoes and kamaitachi (sickle weasels) for attacks.
- Masaya Matsukaze as Fracture (Furakuchu): Another butcher who opposes the Eighth Company alongside Gold and Stream.
- Yūko Sanpei as Faerie: A member of the Evangelist faction and a “Disaster Executor” responsible for orchestrating major disasters.
These new characters promise to bring fresh challenges and dynamics to the storyline as Fire Force reaches its epic conclusion.
Premiere Date and Streaming Details
Fire Force season 3 is scheduled to premiere on April 4th on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS as part of the “Animeism” late-night anime block. Episodes will air every Friday at 1:53 a.m. It has been announced that the second part of the final season will begin airing in January 2026.
Netflix will exclusively stream the anime in Japan, with each episode becoming available after its television broadcast.
Fire Force: A Story of Firefighters and Infernal Battles
Fire Force, created by Atsushi Ohkubo (also known for Soul Eater), is set in a world where people spontaneously combust and transform into fiery monsters known as “Infernals”. A special fire brigade is formed to combat this threat and uncover the mysteries behind the phenomenon.
The manga series was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2015 to 2022 and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Previous Seasons
The first season of the Fire Force anime aired from July to December 2019, followed by the second season, titled “Season 2,” from July to December 2020. Both seasons consisted of 24 episodes each.
Music
Queen Bee will perform the opening theme song “High Flame.” The musical group Umeda Cypher performs the ending theme song “Urusiren” for the anime’s first cours (quarter of a year).
