The Story So Far
See You Tomorrow at the Food Court began as a webcomic by Shinichirō Nariie, published on their Twitter account in October 2019. It gained popularity and was subsequently serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website starting in March 2020. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English, describing the story as:
“Wada is an honor student who keeps to herself and has an air of mystery around her. Yamamoto is an intimidating fashionista with dyed blond hair and a shortened skirt. Though this unlikely duo seem to have nothing in common, it’s only during their daily meetings at the food court that they can be themselves!”
The anime adaptation will consist of six episodes, promising a concise and heartwarming exploration of Wada and Yamamoto’s unique bond.
