While recent discussions may have sparked interest in new musical contributions, the ongoing Gnosia anime series currently features the band Ling Tosite Sigure with their track “Loo% Who%” as its ending theme. Meanwhile, the hip-hop group Umeda Cypher, known for their dynamic sound, has recently contributed their song “Urusiren” as the first ending theme for Fire Force Season 3.
Ling Tosite Sigure’s “Loo% Who%” Closes Out Gnosia Episodes
The anime adaptation of the popular sci-fi social deduction RPG Gnosia, which premiered in October 2025, has captivated audiences with its intriguing premise. Accompanying the mind-bending narrative is the distinct sound of Ling Tosite Sigure, whose song “Loo% Who%” serves as the series’ closing theme. The track was unveiled during Aniplex Online Fest 2025 and is part of their 4-track EP, Lost God of SASORI, which was released on October 22, 2025. A music video for “Loo% Who%” also premiered on October 22.
The Gnosia Anime: A Deceptive Journey
Gnosia adapts the 2019 video game of the same title, bringing its unique blend of social deduction and sci-fi mystery to the screen. The story centers on a player character who must identify the “Gnosia” among the crew of a drifting spaceship, as the Gnosia meticulously eradicate humans one by one. Produced by Domerica and directed by Kazuya Ichikawa, with Jukki Hanada handling series composition, the anime began airing on October 12, 2025, on Tokyo MX and other networks. New episodes are slated to premiere on Saturdays, with Crunchyroll streaming the series globally with English subtitles and dubs.
Umeda Cypher’s Contribution to Fire Force Season 3
While not tied to Gnosia, the Osaka-based hip-hop collective Umeda Cypher has recently made headlines for their involvement in another major anime. The group performed “Urusiren” as the ending theme song for the first cour of Fire Force Season 3, which premiered on April 4, 2025. The track, a portmanteau of “urusai” (loud) and “siren,” is colloquially used in Japanese for the sound of a firetruck’s siren.
Who is Umeda Cypher?
Umeda Cypher originated from impromptu rap sessions held on a pedestrian bridge connecting the Hanshin and Hankyu department stores in Umeda, Osaka, starting in 2007. What began as a way to encourage more hip-hop players grew into a prominent collective known for its “individualistic” approach rather than a fixed group structure. Many of its members, including the renowned R-Shitei, have achieved significant success in MC battle tournaments. Despite initial skepticism from some in the Osaka hip-hop scene due to their unconventional origins, Umeda Cypher has garnered considerable attention, particularly after a viral performance on The First Take YouTube channel. They continue to release music and perform live, establishing themselves as a significant force in the Japanese hip-hop landscape.
The Final Season of Fire Force
Fire Force Season 3 marks the concluding chapter of the anime adaptation based on Atsushi Ohkubo’s popular manga. The series follows Shinra, a pyrokinetic soldier in a special firefighting team, as they battle Infernals—humans spontaneously combusting into fiery demons—and uncover the mysteries behind this phenomenon. The final season is being streamed by Crunchyroll, ensuring global access to the highly anticipated conclusion of the fiery saga.
