The upcoming TV anime adaptation of the social deduction visual novel Gnosia has revealed nine additional voice cast members in a new “Crew Unveiling” trailer. This expands on the initial cast announcement made in March, bringing more of the spaceship’s crew to life ahead of the series’ October 2025 premiere.

Expanding the Crew: New Voice Actors Join the Roster

The newly announced cast members introduce a diverse range of talent to the Gnosia anime, embodying more of the mysterious crew trapped in a deadly time loop. These additions complement the previously announced main cast, filling out the ensemble crucial for the game’s social deduction mechanics.

The nine new cast members and their respective roles include:

  • Shigemichi voiced by Tomoaki Seki
  • Stella voiced by Saori Hayami
  • Yuriko voiced by Aoi Yūki
  • Comet voiced by Ayane Sakura
  • Chipie voiced by Yuichi Nakamura
  • Jonas voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda
  • Otome voiced by Kana Hanazawa
  • Remnan voiced by Takeo Otsuka
  • Sha-Ming voiced by Takuya Eguchi

Notably, the character Kukrushka, who is non-verbal, will not have a voice actor.

Previously Announced Main Cast

Earlier in March 2025, five key cast members were confirmed, providing the initial foundation for the anime’s vocal performances:

  • Yuri voiced by Chika Anzai (Yuri takes on the role of the protagonist in the anime, a role played by a customizable character in the game).
  • Setsu voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa
  • SQ voiced by Akari Kito
  • Raqio voiced by Hiroki Nanami
  • Gina voiced by Asami Seto

The World of Gnosia: A Social Deduction Thriller

The Gnosia anime adapts the popular sci-fi social deduction RPG developed by Petit Depotto and published by PLAYISM. The story centers on the crew of a drifting spaceship who find themselves caught in a perilous situation: a mysterious and deadly threat known as “Gnosia” has infiltrated their ranks. These inhuman monsters eliminate crew members one by one while pretending to be human. To survive, the remaining humans must engage in debates and discussions to uncover the Gnosia hidden among them, then vote to put the most suspicious individuals into “cold sleep.” The game and, by extension, the anime, incorporate a time-loop structure, resetting the scenario regardless of the outcome, adding layers of mystery and replayability.

Key Staff Behind the Adaptation

The anime is being directed by Kazuya Ichikawa (known for The World Ends With You: The Animation) at studio domerica. Jukki Hanada (Steins;Gate, Girls Band Cry) is handling the series composition and scripts, while Arisa Matsuura is responsible for character designs. The music is being composed by Hideyuki Fukasawa (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works). Additional staff members include Ayumi Kamata and Mari Takada as art directors, and Tatsuya Nomura as director of photography.

Release and Background

The Gnosia anime is slated to begin airing in October 2025. The original Gnosia game was first released for PlayStation Vita in June 2019, followed by ports to Nintendo Switch in December 2020, Windows PC in January 2022, and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in December 2023. The game’s intricate gameplay and compelling narrative have garnered a dedicated fanbase, building anticipation for its animated adaptation.
