Naoki Yoshibe serves as assistant director, while Yasuko Aoki is handling the series composition and screenplays alongside Umeki. The music for the series is being composed by Ayana Tsujita.
About Go for It, Nakamura!! and Its Delayed Release
Go for It, Nakamura!! is based on Syundei’s popular boys-love manga, which follows the relatable struggles of Okuto Nakamura. He falls in love at first sight with his classmate Aiki Hirose but, due to his extreme shyness and clumsiness, finds himself in a series of comedic predicaments as he attempts to get closer to him. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English.
The anime adaptation was initially slated for a 2025 release but was later delayed to 2026 due to “production circumstances.” Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series worldwide as it airs.
