Themes and Inspirations
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! subverts tokusatsu show tropes found in series like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Power Rangers. The series presents a warped inversion of the stories fans have come to expect. The Boys was an inspiration for the anime.
The manga explores themes such as challenging one’s destiny and fighting for equality. The series also questions the nature of heroism, with the Dragon Keepers presented as flawed and self-serving figures.
