Ryō Hirohashi Takes on a Supernatural Role
Ryō Hirohashi, known for her versatile voice work in various anime, will portray a kasa-obake in the ongoing supernatural school series. This “monster of the week” character manifests as a one-eyed umbrella, a classic representation of a yokai. Hirohashi’s notable past roles include Minoru Mineta in My Hero Academia and Luna in Sailor Moon Crystal, adding another distinctive character to her extensive repertoire.
The Revived “Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube” Anime Series
The new Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube anime adaptation premiered on July 2, 2025, with a special one-hour broadcast of its first two episodes. The series airs on TV Asahi’s IMAnimation W block in Japan and is slated for two split cours, with the second cour beginning in January 2026.
